My review
Midnight blue is an EXCEPTIONAL book. The story is so good and LJ writing style is phenomenal. She puts a spell on you from the very first page. A perfect witch that loves to make her readers slowly burn. Make them fall so hardly in love with her characters. Now is Alex Winslow turn. You will get this name stuck on your mind. Alex is a rebel rockstar. A perfectly damaged rockstar. When you go right he will go left. He's the king. And he knows it. But even the king stumbles.
That's when Indie comes into his life. Let's just say that Indie will be his earthquake, will slowly break down all his walls. That's the magic in this story. Their relationship. It gets a thousand shades of ...blue. They are the complete opposite. She's the beauty, he is the beast. She is the problem and he's a mess. Indie is more like a nightmare than a dream at the beginning of their " collaboration". In Italian we have a way to say it "stare sul c****" And it's perfectly describe Alex's feelings. But she is determined to fix him and she seems to be the only one that can pick up the broken pieces and make him"whole" again. They are like firing gasoline. But she is also his muse, his strength, his light in the middle of his darkness. Until she became the drug he can't give up, the high he'll never quit. And when you will feel that too.
