Release Blitz & ARC Review πŸ”₯ Craft by Adriana Locke πŸ”₯

Title: Craft
Series: The Gibson Boys #2
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 14, 2018

Blurb

They’re not quite enemies. Not really friends. More like frustrated balls of sexual tension and neither will give in.

Lance Gibson drives Mariah Malarkey absolutely crazy. He uses her office like a phone booth, takes cupcakes from the corner of her desk like she baked them just for him. She didn’t. Maybe she knew the history teacher happened to love peanut butter icing, but that was purely a coincidence. All sixteen times.

Mariah has a way of getting under Lance’s skin too. She calls him out on his crap, spoils him even if inadvertently, and seeing the librarian in skirts drives him wild. She won’t give in. It’s for the best, really, considering there’s no way he could lie to a woman like that and he’s not about to tell her the truth about himself. Not in a million years.

These two don’t hate each other. They don’t really like each other. But for this to be a friends-to-lovers story, they have to start somewhere, right?

Note: This can be read as a standalone novel.

                           My review

Craft is more than a romance. It has behind so much sadness but it ends up putting a smile on your face. Everything in Craft is made to touch your heart. There are so many feelings between the whole story.
The heroine. Mariah is the classic librarian girl. Living through her books. Because a book never judge or reject you, a book is made to be your silent friend, and if it makes you feel better and smile that what its main goal. But books mean fantasies. Well Mariah lives in her own little fantasy world. Or dreams of it. When she will be happy, loved, accepted for just what she is a beautiful and bright woman. What makes her an incredible woman is her strength. Strength herself isn't aware of. But to have lived all your life being isolated by your own family. Being the back ship of your family, because everything you do or want is wrong , it's not so easy. And she keeps living with this height on her shoulder for so many years. Because those who are supposed to support and care about her, do nothing than keep judging her and make her feel inferior. But as I said, she still have a chance, to get up and shine. And her chance is named Lance Gibson. Yes he is frustrating, he is a cooky bastard, he made his own mission to tease her. But Lance is also her best fantasy. No matter how much he drives her crazy, she is drawn on him. It's stronger than her. And she knows it deep in her heart she feel this powerful attraction to Lance.
And Lance knows what his doing using his charm, eating her cupcakes or making a dirty joke. He is the one and the only who can heal all her bruises, who can make her fighting her worries. His way to turn her on and show her what to be cherished and loved will mell your heart. Despite his womanizer side, Mariah is his priority. He wants her happy, open and overwhelming.
But Mariah will slowly own not only his dirty fantasies, but also his thoughts and in the end his heart.
Craft also shows the power of some small gestures, like holding hands or a caress. Because Lance gives her all of him, but most of all he stay by her when she needs to, hold her tide when she needs to feel it and feel their connection.
Mariah has fallen on her knees so many times in her life and she always torturing herself wondering why. Now Lance will change her life, not by giving her the answers but by giving her the reason to stand up again, and live her life and enjoy it
Lance Gibson is a Playboy with a golden heart. But he gets his own secret. A secret that hunting him that makes him feel "demaged". But love can heal everything right?
