Forget oysters. Screw candlelight and champagne. A sexy accent is the truest aphrodisiac. I’m talking a weak-in-the-knees, flutters-all-over, fast-track to euphoria.

I’ve tried to analyze precisely why the sound of a man’s words can elicit this reaction in, frankly, millions of women. But when I break down an accent and study it like a chemical reaction, it’s nearly impossible to draw a logical conclusion. The ingredients in and of themselves don’t seem swoontastic enough.

And yet, accents have been known to induce major swooning.

Wanderlust ... is my new favorite book by Lauren Blakely. Actually this woman never ceases to amaze me. And when her talent shines, he manages to write books like Wanderlust. Thank you Lauren for a truly unforgettable book, like a night in Paris. Thank you for giving us Griffin Thomas. It's crazy how this guy is perfect. He's beautiful, he's smart, is loyal, is sweet, is fun. He's my new bookboyfriend. Is irresistible just the way he is, to talk (especially in French) to treat Joy. Joy is like an irresistible French perfume. unexpectedly pleasant, sparkling, refreshing, addictive, sweet.
The thing that I liked most about the beautiful Griffin is that this guy really listens to her! he cares of the small gestures and details, the small things that are important to Joy.
But the story of the handsome interpreter with a disarming and sexy British accent, and the beautiful American girl is much more than a love story in Paris, the city of love and lights, this romance truly has the fragrance of the most irresistible French perfume . The romantic moments are perfectly alternate, with a wonderful trip to Paris. Really nice. I can say that after reading Wanderlust I was there too.because Wanderlust made me fall in love with that city seeing it through the eyes of Joy and Griffin. And here obviously Lauren's talent intervenes. It makes you dream, it makes you breathe and live the vibe, the atmosphere of those places, feel the perfumes, the croissants, the flowers at the Parisian market, or the rain on the streets.
But the heart does not cease to dream. in love, especially if we are in Paris. perfect place to fall in love. But Giffin has his way of loving, that takes your breath away, real, deep, sometimes dirty, sometimes sweet unconditional. always ready to snatch a smile, to joke or make you feel the center of the universe for him. to make your heart racing.
And when he says dirty things in French it impossible to not fall so hard for him.
But Giffin must also respect a promise made a long time ago, a promise that will break the spell and his heart. But when Giffin loves he does it without reserves but ifs or but's. And it will be love to guide him towards true joy. His Joy.
I really think that Wanderlust is among the best books Lauren has wrote. If not the best, the most romantic of all for sure.
